Twin Centre Rail

Rail travel SwitzerlandGlacier Express

A unique 8 hour journey from St Moritz or Davos across the Swiss Alps to Zermatt and the world famous Matterhorn.

The Glacier Express, the world's slowest Express train, runs daily between Zermatt and St Moritz or Davos, or vice versa. The train climbs to an impressive 2033m via Oberwald and Realp. There is either a restaurant car or 'in seat' catering on the train so you can enjoy a relaxing lunch as you pass through alpine meadows, dramatic mountain peaks and deep gorges. Seat reservations are necessary as are reservations for lunch (please ask for details).

The Glacier Express runs from 13 May - 31 October 2010

Combine a break in Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn with the unspoilt countryside of the Graubünden.
