Days 1 & 2 Lucerne:

Your Swiss Travel Service tour guide will be on hand at Zurich airport to meet guests arriving before 12.30 (after this time you will make your own way to
Lucerne) and will show you to your train to
Lucerne. An information meeting at 18.30 at the
4* Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann, your base for the next two nights will give you the opportunity to meet your fellow travellers. Explore the old town with its maze of cobbled streets, medieval towers and numerous historical sights. Browse some of the finest shops in Switzerland. Try the Golden roundtrip, encompassing the steepest cogwheel railway to Mount Pilatus or cruise across the lake on a paddle steamer to
Vitznau and take the cogwheel railway to Mount Rigi, the Queen of the Mountains.

- The weather is variable, we recommend waterproof and windproof clothing, layering for warmth, sunglasses and walking shoes
- Entrances into attractions and activities are not included
- This rail tour is not suitable for children or people with walking difficulties or significant health problems
